Parish Administration & Communication

Bulletin Deadline & Inserts

ladyprov@olpstl.org

The usual deadline is each Tuesday at 12:00 noon. Early deadlines occur prior to holidays and Holy Week. This is our weekly means of communication. Articles should be submitted in writing via email to ensure accuracy. Non-parish information will be published as space permits. Bulletin inserts are used when the information is too lengthy for a bulletin announcement, or special attention needs to be drawn to an event. All flyers and announcements inserted into the bulletin should be approved by the Pastor. Copying and inserting is the responsibility of the requesting organization or individual.

Pulpit Announcements

These are usually reserved for those things which are happening after Mass, or items of importance which did not make it into the bulletin. We try to keep pulpit announcements to a minimum.

Safe Environment Program

Margie Anderson  ladyprov@olpstl.org

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program requires that all adult employees and volunteers who have a likelihood of working with or near children, youth, or vulnerable adults comply with the following:

  1. Complete a state criminal record and child abuse/neglect check.
  2. Read and sign the acknowledgement page of the Code of Ethical Conduct.
  3. Attend a “Protecting God’s Children” seminar. Dates and times for these classes are published in the bulletin periodically, and can be viewed through a link on our parish website.

All volunteers must be in complete compliance before they are allowed to volunteer or work in any capacity. The Safe Environment forms are available to download from our parish web site. If you have questions as to whether you are in compliance, please contact the Rectory at 843-3570.

OLP parish is dedicated to protecting our children. We are proud to be in full compliance with the Safe Environment program.
